Hey there, just annual reminder that this issue still persists for many years.On windows with some microphones (any microphone for me) across multiple installs, devices and windows versions (10, 11) some applications like discord or google meets are allowed to somehow change your level of microphone without adjusting it back to its original level, leaving user with random levels of microphone recording levels. I had this issue at minimum for 5 years and as I meet and work on computer at least 8 hours a day I am just completely defeated and used to going to control panel and manually setting it
