Hi all,
I have been having issues the past few weeks in regards to my harddrive, I keep getting a notification to scan hard drive which I click with no luck of anything coming back as "fixed" or "scanned". the PC has been rather sluggish especially when trying to access my folders and so on.
I have dug into this and eventually found it may be an OS issue so I did the windows fresh start thing which hasn't helped, I have now had my harddrive vanish and then reappear but in read-only.
I have been online and made it clear the read-only issue in command prompt so I can check the disk to find errors which I tried fixing and keep getting an error message saying "there was a problem with scanning this drive" I clicked show details and found the following in a new window labelled event viewer

I have no clue what any of that is but have read elsewhere it could be a failure on the drive. Is there anyone who has any ideas what I have to do to get it working again, or is it a case of my hardrive is failing?
I use an SSD for the OS and the harddrive for storage, music photos etc. It's a custom built computer, MSI Motherboard, 16gb ram, 1060 graphics card

I have no clue what any of that is but have read elsewhere it could be a failure on the drive. Is there anyone who has any ideas what I have to do to get it working again, or is it a case of my hardrive is failing?
I use an SSD for the OS and the harddrive for storage, music photos etc. It's a custom built computer, MSI Motherboard, 16gb ram, 1060 graphics card
