Windows 11 Having to regually setup PIN even though I have one

Every 1-2 months Windows asks me to sign in using my user name & password and tells me I need to set up a PIN even though I previously set one up (I also have finger print setup). This is seriously annoying! What settings do I need to change/update to keep from having to continually setup the PIN?
