Windows 11 HDMI port suddenly stops working

My HDMI port has suddenly stopped working... it was working till yesterday, in the morning when I tried connecting another monitor, it's not getting detected... the same monitor and the same cables work fine in my friend's laptop so that means the cable aren't loose or anything... I also tried MSDT troubleshooter which asked me to restart my laptop, did it, still the port wasn't detecting the other monitor.... again ran the troubleshooter and was again asked to restart...
