I have a Toshiba tablet. I must have accidentally turned on Bitlocker. Now I can't get into the tablet because the C drive (windows 10) is locked. I have been able to access some troubleshooting links. Restart, Startup repair, System restore, etc all do not work. I can use the Command Prompt though. I learned the command for Bitlocker in manage-bde. So I have tried many parameters. I use manage-bde -protectors c: -get and got "All Key Protectors Numerical Password: ID____ and TPM: ID: ___ and PCR Validation Profile: 7, 11" There was no other Password listed. So where do I find the all-numerical password to enter into the Recovery key request slot? The so-called numerical password mentioned above is actually letters and numbers and the Bitlocker recovery won't let me enter any letters.
I have tried the command unlock c: password (entered so-called numerical password) but it still won't unlock volume C.
HELP!!!
