Everything was fine till last night. I was downloading some stuff to my portable hard drive the files open a new tab in my google chrome browser for just a split second. But for some reason half way into my downloading i noticed several tabs were still hanging and the downloads didn’t start or had finished but didnt go away. I tried closing my onedrive which is connected to my portable hard drive and when that didnt work i restarted the computer only to find that the drive (which was named school stuff now is called local disk F) causes this pc to load and hang, cause any attempt to run chkdsk from the command prompt to not show on the screen and lead to windows explorer to close and leave a blank screen with only a mouse pointer till the drive is unhooked.
