Windows 11 Help with Icons and Folders

I recently got Windows 11 and I noticed that I can't drag icons into a folder without the icons not being able to open anymore. Why is that? I also noticed that my icons in the folders aren't visible until I open OneDrive? Any help would be appreciated.
