Windows 10 High DPI scaling override setting won't stick

I'm on Windows 10 20H2, and having trouble with the high DPI scaling override setting for a game (Cyberpunk). I change the setting to perform scaling with the System, and it works perfectly, but when I exit the game, the setting resets (box unticked). Which means I have to set it like that every time I want to play the game, which is completely ridiculous.

Is there any way to make the setting stick?
