Windows 11 Holding Shift and right clicking in windows 11 explorer menu left pane causes the window to become non-responsive

This bug was introduced the last major update in September, it is super annoying, but if you hold shift and right click (to bypass the show more options menu) the window becomes non-responsive. The only thing you can do is close the window and open another explorer window. This was introduced the last major upgrade, I was hoping Microsoft would fix this because it is really annoying.
