Windows 10 hotmail when opened only shows all done for the day

when opening my hotmail / outlook messages the page only shows message "ALL DONE FOR THE DAY"SIGNED IN TO MY ACCOUNT VIA MY NORMAL METHOD however I recently upgraded my hotmail to the NEW OUTLOOK / HOTMAIL. my e-mails are synced with Google which I can still receive as they arrive via Google. going round in circles to go back to a working system. I do not need Microsoft 365 use alternative Bryan
