Windows 10 How can I change Windows 10 system font from the Segoe UI to something actually readable?

I have trouble reading fonts such as Arial and Segoe. I need to change my system font to something readable, such as Bookman Old Style. How do I safely do this? If it's necessary to change the registry, how do I do that safely?

I'm not interested in answers about cleartype or font size. I'm quite well aware of how to change those things. It is the font itself I need to change.

And as far as feedback, how can I inform Microsoft that the restrictions on "personalization" in Win10 are horrible, and that they should go back to the Win7 style of allowing the user to set up such things as, oh, hey, the FONT?

Thanks!
