Windows 11 How can I fix a sync error?

I'm using Microsoft 365 to organize files into Explorer folders. In Explorer, I see an X in a red dot in the status column next to a word document. A cloud icon in the upper right of the Menu bar indicates a sync error. I tried opening the file and saving it using Auto Save thinking that would sync the file on my computer to my Cloud files. How can I fix this sync error?
