Windows 10 how can i get my original windows 7? please help

i have downloaded the copy of windows 10 and it is showing activate your windows and i can't personalize anything and on the back of the laptop my in-built windows in 7 and there is written the product key but when i enter my key in the activation setting it shows that it's not valid please help me how can i get my original windows 7? and i have also RESET it but it is again showing windows 10 and the watermark
