Windows 10 how do I change my date of birth so it is correct and not saying I am a child

My date of birth has changed in a new email account to say I am under 18 - and set up a family sharing account - which I cannot access as I am not the administrator and now cannot access my email without permission. Can you assist in resolving this please.
