Windows 11 How do I fix the blank Chinese character selection bar?

There is supposed to be multiple characters popping up in the horizontal bar above my text when I write the spelling in pinyin, but now it is just blank. It used to work before but randomly it disappeared.This is what it is supposed to look like:
