Windows 11 How do I fix the Windows 11 memory and cpu excessive use on my Acer Aspire, E5-576G-5762?

I downloaded Windows 11 as the alerts came in that my pc per MS had the utility to handle this OS. Now my Acer Aspire E 15, E5,576G-5762 crashes while utilizing Windows 11. The memory climbs to over 50% as does the memory use. This occurs whenever I have a maximum of 5 Chrome windows open. Chrome kills both CPU and MEM usage. Chrome version is up to date.I went to the Acer boards off the product website and they told me the bios in my Aspire E 15, E5-576G-5762 is not compatible with Windows 11 and I should reload Windows 10. Is this true? Why would MS tell me I can use Windows 11 and my cpu
