Windows 11 How do I gain full write permissions on my PC?

I'm trying to install a package from Github directly into my C:/ drive from the command line. But when I run the command, I receive an error, permission denied. I realize this is because my account is not currently set to full permissions. How do I gain full write permissions over the C:/ drive so I can install packages from the command line?Also, not sure if this matters, but under C:/ 'advanced security properties' my user account shows as "Account Unknown.' Is this normal?I hope I picked the right 'topic category' for this.Thanks
