Microsoft made be set up a PIN connected to my Microsoft account to login to my PC when I first installed Windows months ago. I entered the PIN today and got the error 0x8009002d “Something went wrong and your PIN isn’t available” I cannot reset the PIN because I do not have access to the recovery email that Microsoft insists sending a recovery code to. This means that Microsoft is now holding Windows on my PC hostage even though I have the current correct PIN and can login to the Microsoft account. How do I log in? I cannot wait 30 days to reset the recovery email. I need to use this computer
