Windows 11 How do i turn off "dead keys"?

after updating to windows 11, i now have dead keys. (apostropes, and tildes)I never need an umlaut, never. please do not redirect me to here:Apostrophes and double quotes don't show up until I type the next letter I have followed all of those and none of them work, they appear to be for older versions of windows.this is not a feature, it is a nightmare.
