Windows 11 How do I unlock my Microsoft account.

When logging into my Microsoft account on my computer, I typed in the wrong password too many times and now I am stuck at the locked account page. So now I continue with my phone number to recover my account, but this doesn't work, every time I put in my number. It says this method isn't working right now. But there is no other message so now I am stuck locked out of my account and limited features on my computer.
