Windows 11 How is my windows 11 activated with a windows 10 key?

I used microsoft PID checker with the key I activated windows 11 pro with and it says that that key is windows 10 pro OEM. How is my windows 11 activated with a windows 10 key, and since it's an OEM key, would I be able to use it on the same machine if I did a complete secure erase in the BIOS? I also tried slmgr /dlv in command prompt and it says Windows(R) professional OEM. I am pretty sure this doesn't mean the key is not legit, but does this have any downsides, and will I be able to use it if i reset the machine?
