Windows 11 How to block Win 11 from updating or another solution for the last 2 forced security updates, causing HDMI failure at a critical moment

After each of the past 2 updates the HDMI no longer functions and it is not possible to present a PowerPoint presentation. THIS HAPPENED TO ME BOTH TIMES ON THE DAY OF OR DAY BEFORE A WORKSHOP!!!The ONLY fix that owrked was a complete reset which is a 4 hour process to reinstall all the apps. The next security update BLEW HDMI out AGAIN. This is the kind of stuff that pushes people over the edge of sanity to do insane things.Microsoft is ignoring the problem and the loss of income caused by MS incompetency and indifference to repairing the damage. I cannot afford the continual loss of income
