Windows 10 How to change a usb to com port

Hi,I have an Rs232 usb to db25 adapter, when I plug it in to windows 10, it comes up in usb control in device manager.I need it in the com & LPT so I can change the bit rate.Can I change it from a usb control to a com port so I can change the port settings.ThanksHarry
