Windows 11 How to create a Windows password

I have just changed my Microsoft password. I am trying to get to my list of password to make some changes. I am told to enter my window password so, I enter my Microsoft password and I get a wrong password. I don't know how to get to Windows. I am not IT literate, would anyone be able to help me with very specific instructions? Thank you.
