Windows 11 How to disable path lenght limit

Hi! How can I disable the error Destination Path Too Long on Windows 11 and allow longer paths? I did try to use Enable Win32 long paths in group policy and make sure that in regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem\LongPathsEnabled is set to 1, but even after restarting my PC I get this error. I can't simply rename the files/folder to make them shorter as they are files for a developing project (programming).
