Did a long over due windows update. After my computer restarted I had no sound. I’m fact the device manager did not even show an audio card even installed. Including looking at hidden items. I shut my pc off, swapped my audio card to a new slot and restarted it. Still shows no hardware installed. I went to the audio card manufacture site and download the drivers for it. Went to install it and it failed with an error stating no audio card hardware was there. I tried to uninstall the the update and that had no effect.
