Windows 11 How to get images, not strange strips, in my Clipchamp's timeline?

Hello, everyone! After years, I'm back here. I'm starting to learn making videos for YouTube (by using Clipchamp). Could someone tell me WHY do I get thiswhen placing pictures in my timeline?Instead of thisor this,just like everybody else?Those vertical little strips can't be expanded (no double head arrow) Is it a kind of error? Cause it doesn't seem to be useful. How can I fix it and how can I avoid it? THANKS A LOT in advance for any help.
