Windows 11 how to get microphone to work in Windows 11 (it used to work, stopped suddenly)?

Windows 11 laptop microphone was working fine for Zoom meetings. It simply quit and now I cannot be heard. I checked the driver status and all is fine. Troubleshooter says all is fine. Everything says all is fine. I guess it must be fine that I cannot be heard!
