Windows 11 How to get rid of persistent notification in top left corner (Windows 11)

It appears that this was asked before but there was no response that provided an answer to the problem.This notification is from my VPN software, which is fine, but it is blocking anything that I might need to access in that corner. I also see notifications from other software in this corner so it is not just my VPN software.I went to System->Notifications and turned all notifications off, or at least those that I was able to.Anyone have a solution?
