Windows 11 How to make Photos app open jpg files again

Windows Photos app has been working on my computer since it came out in 2014. Now when I try to open a jpg file (any jpg in any folder) I get; "The specified procedure could not be found." The files can be opened by Paint, Photoshop, and several other apps. But not Photos. I like that app best for viewing photos. What can I do to fix this issue?
