Windows 10 How to make white PNG thumbnails visible.

I have a large set of icons that have a slightly transparent circle background and a white icon in the middle of that circle. When I view them as thumbnails it's really impossible to see the icons. Even with the side preview pane it's just white. Is there a way to change the thumbnails so I can actually see them?I've attached an example of how the thumbnail view looks as well as an example of how the icon looks.
