Since this morning my minecraft launcher no longer opens and marks the message in screenshot. However, I bought the game more than 3 years ago without having had a single problem. The pop-up tells me to have a valid subscription when I never needed a subscription. I doubt that you need a subscription to just play minecraft. The message is as follows
