Windows 10 How to restore system from windows image backup on hard drive using another pc?

My windows 11 update failed and now the machine is unable to boot-up properly--I cannot restore or recover using typical windows options as I get numerous errors. Using a windows USB to boot can start the pc but I still am unable to restore the system---it gives an insane number (32000 GB) needed for HD space to accomplish.However, I have a backup image saved from 9/22/22 on the hard drive. I am looking to recover the system on this hard drive using another PC. How is this accomplished?thanks,AD
