Windows 7 How to restore windows media playlist that were on the Master SSD drive that has now become the external slave drive.

Hi, I had a virus on my computer months ago and took it to someone who backed up the files on an external drive, then wiped/reset my drive/ loaded windows back on and then put my files back on that drive to now use as an external drive. I am using a different drive for the operating system and my old SSD drive as an external drive. My windows media player on the old SSD drive that used to be my main, had all of my playlist, some having over a thousand songs in a playlist.
