I faced overheating issues with a windows 10 upgraded to windows 11 laptop for a long time and found out that after rolling out the windows 11 update, microsoft set few of the power plan settings to something and removed it completely from the control panel settings. after a deep search , i found how to get them back using regedit. i did that and disabled the processor performance boost mode and the heating issue was somewhat resolved. but from time to time, windows keeps automatically changing it to efficiently enabled, which heats the laptop again causing it to shut down. How to stop it?
