Windows 11 How to turn my monitors into extended monitors using my HDMI splitter?

I currently have two monitors (Sceptre) connected through a HDMI splitter to my pc. When I try to hit detect monitors through settings it keep saying, "We didn't find another display". I also have tried "Ctrl+Windows+P" to display options for my screen still no changes. How do I resolve this issue please help.
