I have an old “Acer Aspire One” laptop that is extremely small in size (1 GB RAM). I use it to test various versions of windows (2000, XP, vista, 7 and 8). One day while I was doing this, the battery suddenly cut off and never worked again (Keep in mind the battery is relatively new and not used or drained frequently, its been around for less than 4-5 years and It has ran perfectly). I went to Device Manager to see if i can disable and re-enable or Update the “Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery” driver.
