Hii,
I have an ASUS TUF GAMING FX505DY-BQ002T. I upgraded my build in Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro using the Microsoft store app so that I can use Hyper-V and Docker for windows.
Windows 10 Home was updated to Version 1903 before the Pro upgrade.
But when do the following
But on a restart, I'm getting a black screen right after showing Laptop Brand logo. It does not move ahead. I can hear the sound of fan running, which I don't hear on normal use or during development.
I'm able to go back to the previous state by going to "Safe Mode with Networking". But then again I don't have Hyper-V or I cannot use Docker for windows.
I tried
No difference, I'm getting the black screen on restart.
This is my Hardware configuration.

- Turn on Windows Features -> Hyper-V -> Hyper-V Platform and install it.
- The system asks for a restart and I restart to complete the Hyper-V installation.
I tried
- checking for windows update(None pending)
- Updated all hardware drivers from Device Manager
- Running Hyper-V install command from Powershell.
- Checked for Hyper-V requirement
No difference, I'm getting the black screen on restart.
