Windows 10 I cannot get an Acer A315 laptop to upgrade Windows 10 from Vn 1511 to a higher number

Windows Update has been run at least 9 times and it appears to install correctly with no errors being reported but the Vn stays at1511.Windows Update Troubleshooter reports errors such as:"The location where Windows Update stores data has changed and must be repaired."I have run sfc /scannow and DISM.Please help
