I've tried with every program now, and only Windows Media Player (the one with the orange circle white triangle icon) works. Everything else gives me the notification. I also am unable to click the option "Search with Microsoft Store" without the same notification popping up. This works with very recent recordings as well. I've tried dragging the file to my desktop and opening it through there, in case the folder was corrupted, but that didn't work either and the same notificaiton pops up. I've tried opening Microsoft Store through the search bar, and the loading icon pops up, but nothing open
