Windows 11 I can't view Windows Defender history, likely due to the fact that I can't even access the Scans folder in file explorer, where the History folder is.

I tried taking ownership of the Scans folder and the Windows Defender folder, using admin terminal for takeown, cacls, even using the psexec tool. Access denied every single time. I am the only user account on this PC and I am an administrator. I have always wondered why I could never see the history when viewing it from settings. Just now, windows defender detected a trojan, and before I could read the name of it, all mention of it in settings had disappeared and says no threats found. I found out it's because I have absolutely no access to these folders, not even read access. It doesn't make
