Windows 10 I connect my phone to my pc via usb,it connects and charges,but there is no option of my phone on the pc. My phone doesn't show on the laptop.

I connect my phone to my pc via usb,it connects and charges,but there is no option of my phone on the pc. My phone doesn't show on the laptop. Took it to a local repair shop,he tried updated windows and all,but it didn't work out either.
