Windows 7 I coppied and pasted Desktop to an external hard drive but several photos were denied eg Dsc 82??40-41-42-??42

I copied - Desktop - and paste it to an external hard drive but several files were denied including- DSC 8241 and several othes just before and after. I would like to open these folders to see what they are* Changed to a question
