Windows 11 I deleted an excel file saved in desktop and accidentally deleted it permanently. I tried using third party but it is still not there. Other tricks?

I had an excel file that I accidentally deleted from desktop into recycle bin when I was clearing off app shortcuts, and by habit, I cleared off the bin too. I tried using Disk Drill app to recover it but it seems that the file is still missing. Am I not searching under the right folder (under Disc C:, Users, then Microsoft) or am I doomed? Thanks. PS. The recovery apps keep giving me shortcuts of the excel file, but when I try to open it in excel, it says that the shortcut is no longer valid as the file has been removed or deleted, but I can't find it anywhere.
