Windows 11 “I forgot my PIN” returns me to screensaver

Hi, I’ve forgotten my PIN on my Windows 11 laptop but there is no button for other sign-in options, and the “I forgot my PIN button just returns me to the screensaver from which I can go to the log in page, click “I forgot my PIN” and be returned to the screensaver in a loop.I’ve looked around on forums etc. and not found a solution. Has anyone else experienced this issue - please help!
