I have an INSPIRON N5010 laptop (with windows 10 pro).
Specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU.
Installed Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB (3.80 GB usabel).
System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor.
My laptop disconnects from the internet usually when I'm on Youtube. Whenever I try to release and renew “ipconfig /release”, and “ipconfig /renew”, it says “no operation can be performed on Wireless Network Connection 2 while it has its media disconnected” and directly under that is says “no operation can be performed on Local Area Connection while it has its media disconnected”. Also (I am always connected to the internet wirelessly; but it says it too whenever i connect directly through an ethernet cable.
There are a few things I have tried:
-unplugging and plugging modem after 30 seconds.
-rebooting laptop and modem.
-temporarily turning off Avast security.
-netsh winsock reset & netsh winsock reset catalog.
