Windows 11 I get blank drop-down menus in Windows 11 File Explorer

Example of problem: I select <View> in Explorer and get faded Icons and NO text descriptions such as Details, List, Tiles, Small Icons.This same problem occurs in Explorer, when I right-click a file and select <Open With> (only the Icons are full/colored, but NO text description).This has been happening for a while and I'd like to fix it!! In other words, I'm not sure how many Windows 11 updates I've installed so I can't go back to before when this happened and do a <Restore Before>.Thanks, Alan
