Windows 10 I have a 10gbps NIC, but when I turn on 10gbps Full Duplex, it doesn't work.

I've been having trouble with my ASUS XG-C100C 10G NIC. I have a 2.5gbps fiber-optic connection, and my computer is directly connected to the box via CAT-7 cable. My "Speed & Duplex" only works when set to Auto Negotiation. Even when set to that, the connection caps out at 1gbps. The connection is usually around 900mbps, but my main problem is that Windows caps it at 1gbps. My ethernet status window says the speed is 1.0gbps, but it should be something more like 2-2.5gbps, image linked.
