Windows 10 I have a laptop of a family member who died, we're trying to recover photos and other files from the Laptop, but can't login

I have a HP Pavilion x360 laptop of my sister who passed away and we're trying to login to it to try and recover photos and other personal data and information, however we are unable to determine her password, is there a way to get into this machine without deleting all of here personal files?
