Windows 11 I have a lifetime license for Office 2021, but Outlook is above 15 GB. Do I need a subscription to Microsoft 365 to use Outlook when I exceed 15 GB?

Is the only way to keep my outlook email account running when I am above the 15GB storage to subscribe to Microsoft 365? I have a lifetime activation license (not a subscription) for Office 2021, but my outlook will not download/send new mail because I have 41 GB of mail! Thanks for your help!
